Windy Greeting Cards

A renewable energy provider contacted me recently for permission to transform my original painting of a Wind Turbine in Clouds into custom greeting cards.

A representative from Invenergy, North America’s largest independent, privately held renewable energy provider, contacted me in 2017 to see about featuring one of my original wind paintings on a company greeting card. They were interested in Turbine and Clouds in Watercolor, a small loose watercolor and gouache painting I did as preparation for a larger painting.

Staff in their Denver office worked with me to enter an art licensing agreement. The agreement gave them permission to feature my artwork on greeting cards they can use for customer relations, marketing outreach, and other company communications.

I’m happy with the way their card turned out. Invenergy also purchased the original painting, so it is no longer available, although many of my other wind paintings are.

Below are photos of the card front, back, and envelope. I set it on top of another original wind painting that is available! If you are interested in licensing my artwork for a custom greeting card, I’d love to talk to you. Please feel free to contact me. If you are interested in my self-published book commemorating my three-year journey to paint the wind, it is available from Blurb Books in both hard and soft cover.
